What is The Force For Good?

Compassion in action

The Force for Good is an international, non-sectarian, grass roots volunteer organization empowering individuals of all ages and backgrounds to make a positive difference wherever they are.

We encourage empathy, and embrace the power of kindness to uplift others, promote harmony, and do what we can to improve the planet.

Associate & Junior Membership is free, and Full Membership is less than the price of a cup of coffee. Members devote a little time to uplift their own communities, whilst those modest donations help fund our charitable activities, community projects and administrative costs,

Don't confuse our organization with Disney's 'Force for Change.' That is a corporate controlled initiative that raises money for large charitable organizations. That's great work, but subscribers rarely see the exact effects of their contribution. Our members start by improving their own community, and along the way change the lives of infirm and impoverished individuals overseas.

Don't confuse us with the 'Nu Skin Force for Good.'  That is a product purchase donation system (a donation of 25 cents on every Nu Skin Epoch® product sale.) They are a corporation donating to good overseas causes and not a volunteer organization impacting attitudes in their own community.

We are a movement of the people for the people: With small, easily achievable actions we aim to make a difference to old folks and kids within our own communities. We're promoting compassion over selfishness, and through a global network of local collectivities we also reach out beyond borders to aid individuals and organizations in impoverished communities, where medications and education are more a dream than a reality. Through that program we are changing lives, one life at a time.

We are not a top heavy organization. We are largely  volunteers. Our Founder and visionaries provide guidance, ideas, and inspiration, but most initiatives start at root levels, where local Pathfinders and Project Leaders running small groups, help their communities. Those "collectivities" report back about every project in order to be added as news to our online presence. We are aiming for a global web of local groups running their own initiatives that the Visionary Board can call on for larger projects when needed. So those at the top deal with core principles and global admin while local groups deal with on site actions.

We champion a simple belief: that every person has the power to be a Force for Good in the galaxy we all share.

Our volunteers aim to channel that spirit into acts of kindness, generosity and care: To make a difference in their community, to support education for those without opportunity, to seek medicine for the impoverished, to protect the vulnerable, to organize aid for communities in crisis, or simply help a neighbor in need.

Membership in The Force for Good requires no doctrine, denomination, or ideology,  only empathy, goodwill, and the willingness to help make the world we share a better place.

Let's honor paths that lead toward understanding and unity, and encourage respect for each other's diversity. Together, we strive to build a culture where hope, respect, and cooperation prevail — proving that in every caring heart, there truly is a Force for Good.
